Terms and Conditions for the Miami Duathlon
Eligibility: This event is open to athletes of all levels, including first-time participants. All entrants must be at least 18 years of age or have parental consent.
Registration: All participants must register online prior to the event date. No on-site registration will be accepted.
Health and Safety: Participants are advised to consult with a physician before competing. It is the responsibility of each participant to be in good health and prepared for the physical demands of the duathlon.
Course Rules: Participants must adhere to the designated course routes. Any deviation from the course may result in disqualification.
Refund Policy: All registration fees are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation due to extraneous circumstances, participants will be notified and an alternative solution offered.
Liability Waiver: By registering, participants agree to waive any liability against the event organizers, sponsors, and volunteers for injuries or damages incurred during the event.
Conduct: Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner throughout the event. Any form of misconduct may lead to disqualification.
Photography Release: Participants consent to be photographed during the event, allowing for use of their image in promotional materials.
Weather Contingency: The event will proceed rain or shine. In case of extreme weather, organizers reserve the right to alter or cancel the event.
